Atlanta Motor Speedway has opened its campgrounds to provide places to stay for evacuees escaping the path of Hurricane Matthew. Spaces for both RV and tent camping are available to evacuees free of charge.
The track also is opening its camper bath house facilities adjacent to the family campground. This will provide individuals stayed at the track access to restrooms and hot showers.
Evacuees seeking refuge should enter the Atlanta Motor Speedway ground at Entrance A off Hwy 19/41 at Speedway Blvd. and then, turn left at Entrance N. From I-75 and GA Hwy. 20, those wanting to camp at AMS should take Lower Woolsey Rd. to Speedway Blvd. Then, turn right on Speedway Blvd. to Entrance N.
Help for visitors will be provided at the office/gift store building.
