Austin Dillon wins at Charlotte again

Austin Dillon completed a NASCAR Xfinity Series 2015 sweep of Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday by starting on the pole and getting back up front late to win the Drive for the Cure 300. He also started on the pole and ended the day in victory lane the last time the series visited the track in May.

“It’s pretty cool to say we’ve swept both races at our home track,” Dillon said. “We didn’t start the race very strong. I told Danny (Stockman, crew chief) we were really tight and needed to make some adjustments. He made great calls and took big swings at it. Those guys made this Rheem Chevrolet fast.”

Erik Jones finished second and Brad Keselowski was third. Daniel Suarez was the highest-finishing Xfinity Series championship-eligible driver, taking fourth. Another series regular, Regan Smith rounded out the top-five.
