Ryan Truex is slated to drive Biagi DenBeste Racing’s No. 98 Ford entry in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. He already has competed in three Xfinity Series races with the team in 2015, driving the No. 98 at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway, Charlotte (N.C.) and Kentucky Speedway in Sparta. The Texas race was a late addition to Truex’s deal with Biagi DenBeste. Including the Texas race, there are three races remaining this season, but Texas is the last race for which Truex is scheduled to compete.
“It feels great to have another race added to my schedule,” Truex said. “I feel like we have some momentum after Charlotte, and I really enjoy working with Jon and the guys. Texas is a mile-and-a-half track that shares some similarities with Charlotte. I know the feel that we need in our Mustrang to get a top-10 run to close out the year. I really appreciate everyone at Biagi DenBeste Racing for giving me another chance to run this year.”
