Brad Keselowski gets third Kentucky Speedway Xfinity Series win

Brad Keselowski continued his mastery of Kentucky Speedway in Sparta on Friday night, claiming his third NASCAR Xfinity Series win in the last five years at the track with a victory in the Kentucky 300. His latest win was his fifth, overall, in the Bluegrass State, as he also has two Sprint Cup wins in four Cup races at the track.

“I feel really lucky. Kentucky’s been a good track for me,” Keselowski said. “I love this place.”

Erik Jones was the race leader with 10 laps to go, but when he got caught behind the slower lapped car of David Starr, Keselowski was able to take advantage of the situation by passing Jones for the lead and the win.

Jones finished second.

“We went back and forth for a minute, there,” Jones said. “Unfortunately, a lapped car was too slow, there, and let him get by.”
