The Buckle Up 200 presented by Click It or Ticket NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Dover (Del.) International Speedway on Saturday began with Roush Fenway Racing teammates Darrell Wallace Jr. and Chris Buescher on the front row. Buescher fell back at the start, but in the closing laps, the two teammates were back together up front battling for the win while conserving fuel. In the end, Buescher came out with his second win in the last three reaces.
“Great to get that second Xfinity win,” Buescher said.
“Wallace, though, wound up with a flat tire that called for a trip down pit road with six laps remaining. He also wound up with a 17th-place finish.
“It’s my teammate, so I can’t say much without seeing the replay,” Wallace said after the race. “I asked my spotter, and we just got ran over.”
Matt Kenseth finished second, and Regan Smith was third.
