Cole Custer gets new crew chief

Earlier this week, JR Motorsports announced a crew chief change for its No. 00 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team. Marcus Richmond is the new crew chief on the team and will assume the role of crew chief for driver Cole Custer for the remainder of the 2016 season. He replaces Joe Shear Jr., who resigned from the position.

“Marcus is a well-known crew chief in the Truck Series garage, and we are delighted he has joined out team,” JR Motorsports General Manager Kelley Earnhardt Miller said. “He brings a lot of experience and the kind of steady leadership that can take us to victory lane and into the inaugural Chase this season. Pared with Cole and the rest of the team, we are eager to see this new partnership begin at Iowa Speedway.”
