NASCAR drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Joey Logano are among the nominees in for 2015 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards. Kids have until July 9 to vote for the winner. They may vote here.
Earnhardt is nominated in the “Don’t Try This at Home” category. Other nominees in the category include snowboarders Danny Davis and Kelly Clark, alpine skier Lindsey Vonn, skateboarder Nyjah Huston and fellow-motorsports competitor Travis Pastrana as nominees in the category.
Although not a newcomer to the NASCAR ranks, Logano is nominated in the “Favorite Newcomer” category for the Kids’ Choice Sports Awards. He’s joined in the category by fellow-nominees snowboarder Amy Purdy, basketball player Andrew Wiggins, golfer Jordan Spieth, baseball player Jose Abreu, football player Malcolm Butler, skier Mikaela Shiffrin, and football player Odell Beckham Jr.
The second-annual Kids’ Choice Sports Awards will be held at 8 p.m. ET July 16 at Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles. The show will be hosted by Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks. It will air live on Nickelodeon, except on the West Coast and in Canada where it will be shown on a delayed basis.
