Jeb Burton will make his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start of the 2015 season Friday night in the WinStar World Casino 350 at Texas Motor Speedway near Fort Worth. He’ll do so from behind the wheel of the No. 00 Chevrolet of JR Motorsports. The race will be Burton’s 50th-career start in the Truck Series.
“I’ve had a lot of success at Texas,” Burton said. “I have a win there, a second-place and a pole. I’ve always been fast there. I went by the JRM shop the other day, and I feel like Joe Shear (crew chief) and the guys, they’ve got it going on overe there. I’m really excited, and I think we can go win the race and be there at the end. I just want to go out there and have some fun again, run up front and lead laps and run in the top-five. If we could get the win, that would be great, and that’s what we want to go do.”
