Kyle Busch overcame a speeding penalty to lead a total of 44 laps in the 100-lap Careers for Veterans 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn on Saturday to claim his second Truck Series win of the season in only his second series start of the season.
“Our truck was so strong,” Busch said.
Ryan Blaney finished second, Erik Jones was third, Johnny Sauter fourth and Austin Dillon rounded out the top-five.
“We were just a little off today, unfortunately,” Jones said. “Had to pit with about 24 laps to go and loosen it up.”
