Kyle Busch Motorsports penalized after Dover

According to a penalty announcement from NASCAR on Wednesday, the No. 51 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota team in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was penalized after failing post-race inspection at Dover (Del.) International Speedway on Friday night after the JACOB Companies 200. Crew chief Kevin “Bono” Manion was fined $6,000 and placed on probation through Dec. 31. Also, the team was docked 10 championship owner points.

Daniel Suarez drove the No. 51 truck to a runner-up finish at Dover. Suarez isn’t a Truck Series regular, so he doesn’t earn Camping World Truck Series driver points. He is, instead, a full-time, regular competitor in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
