Kyle Larson wins rain-shortened Xfinity race at Pocono

The Pocono Green 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa., on Saturday wound up being the Rain-shortened 132.5, as rain brought out the red flag after completion of lap 53 of the race scheduled for 100 laps. That red flag was replaced by the checkered flag about an hour-and-a-half later, and Kyle Larson was declared the winner of the first-ever race for the Xfinity Series at the track known as the “Tricky Triangle.”
Larson was the race leader at the red flag, while Erik Jones was second, Ty Dillon third, Kyle Busch fourth, and Joey Logano fifth.
“I didn’t really think I would win today, but it all worked out,” Larson said. “All in all, a really solid day.”
