Madeline Crane set for truck debut at Eldora

Jennifer Jo Cobb is typically the lone female among a bunch of guys when the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series takes the green flag. Depending on how qualifying goes at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on Wednesday for the 1-800-CAR-CASH Mud Summer Classic, though, that may not be the case for Wednesday night’s dirt race. Madeline “Mad Maddie” Crane is on the entry list for this year’s event as driver of the No. 80 Ford.

The 17-year-old Georgia driver is a Super Late Model driver at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway. She leaves Georgia for Eldora fourth in the points standings at her home track. Also in Georgia, Crane began racing at the age of 10, running a Bandolero in the Thursday Night Thunder Series at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
