Voting is open for Most Popular Driver awards in both the NASCAR Xfinity and Camping World Truck series. Voting is open until Nov. 20 for the Camping World Truck Series and until Nov. 21 for the Xfinity Series. Fans may cast votes daily at NASCAR.com/mostpopulardriver.
Drivers eligible for the popular driver award in each series must be championship-eligible in his/her respective series and must have attempted to qualify for at least half the races on the schedule for the series in which he/she is being considered for the award. Reigning Xfinity Series champion Chase Elliott was voted Most Popular Driver in the Xfinity (then-Nationwide) Series last year. He is eligible for the same award in 2015. Ryan Blaney won the award in the Truck Series last year. He’s not eligible for the award this year, though, as he has only attempted four of the 18 races, so far, this season and is collecting championship points in the Xfinity Series, not the Camping World Truck Series. He also hasn’t attempted at least half the races in that series.
