NASCAR released the 2016 schedule for the Camping World Truck Series on Tuesday, awhile after releasing the schedules for the other two national series, the Sprint Cup and Xfinity series. As in recent years past, the 2016 Truck Series schedule is made up of 23 races. There are no new tracks on the schedule for next year, and conversely, no tracks lost dates.
As in previous seasons, the year will start and end in Florida, with the season opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway scheduled for Feb. 19 and the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway scheduled for Nov. 18. The Truck Series will also make a return trip, its third, to the dirt at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, in July.
