NASCAR Chase paint schemes a little different

By AMANDA VINCENT

For the second-straight year, the cars participating in the NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup will be set apart from the rest by special features incorporated into their paint schemes throughout the 10-race championship post-season.

Just like during the 2014 Chase, participants’ cars will have yellow windshield headers and front valances. This year, though, add rear spoilers to the list of areas going yellow. Last year, the numbers atop Chase cars went yellow, but this year, teams will maintain their regular schemes/colors atop their cars.

The normal Sprint Cup Series logo and NASCAR race car decals will be replaced by a Chase logo and the specific rounds of the Chase — Challenger, Contender, Eliminator and Championship. Also, Chase drivers will receive different race winner decals for wins within each Chase round.
