Brad Keselowski will be on the pole when the NASCAR Cup Series takes its first green flag following a two-month hiatus because of the coronavirus pandemic. He’ll lead the race field to the start of The Real Heroes 400 at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway on Sunday as a result of a random draw Thursday.

“And for the record. . . Second Darlington pole. First one won from my living room,” Keselowski (@Keselowski) tweeted Thursday.

Keselowski will be joined on the front row for the start of Sunday’s race by Alex Bowman. Matt DiBenedetto, Kyle Busch and Aric Almirola will round out the top-five on the starting grid.

Starting sixth through 10th will be Kevin Harvick, Ryan Blaney, Jimmie Johnson, Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin.

Matt Kenseth will start 12th in his first race behind the wheel of the No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet, replacing the fired Kyle Larson. Ryan Newman will start 21st in his first race upon his return from recovery from injuries sustained in the season-opening Daytona 500.
