NASCAR Cup: Bristol Motor Speedway weekend results in only one penalty

By AMANDA VINCENT

Only one penalty came out of the Bristol (Ten.) Motor Speedway Xfinity/Monster Energy NASCAR Cup series race weekend that culminated in Sunday/Monday’s running of the Food City 500.

Brian Pattie, crew chief on the No. 17 Roush Fenway Racing Ford of Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in the Cup Series, was fined $10,000, because the No. 17 had a loose or missing lug nut after the Food City 500 on Monday.

Stenhouse finished a season-best fourth in the race.
