NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Danica Patrick has started a clothing line called Warrior by Danica Patrick, and the line is set to debut Jan. 2 on HSN.
“I’ve always been interested in fashion,” Patrick said, according to a People
magazine article. “When I was a little girl, if I didn’t like my clothes, I would just cut them and make them look different. Now, athleisure clothes are pretty much what I live in. I have either bought or been sent so many different workout clothes that I have only become more critical, and I feel like I’m at a position now in my career and with my experience to be able to do a great job.”
The line is referred to as athleisure and includes jackets, tops, joggers and leggings, according to the People article. Prices will range from $29.90 to $89.90.
“I want people to feel like they can get something new without feeling like it’s so much of a splurge,” Patrick said.
In addition to, or because of, her racing career, Patrick has become a known fitness buff, as she often posts photos of herself in yoga poses on social media. Also worth nothing, her primary sponsor on the No. 10 Stewart-Haas Racing entry is Nature’s Bakery, a snack food company that promotes healthy eating.
