NASCAR Cup: Jeffrey Earnhardt stays with Circle Sport-TMG in 2018

Jeffrey Earnhardt will continue with the No. 33 Circle Sport-TMG Chevrolet team in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series in 2018, according to an announcement from the race team Sunday, prior to the day’s Alabama 500 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway.

“CSTMG & @JoeFalk33 are proud to announce @JEarnhardt1 will return to the No. 33 for 2018 in the @NASCAR #MENCS!” read a tweet from the race team’s official Twitter (@CSTMG3330).

Earnhardt is in his first season with Circle Sport-TMG. He previously raced for GoFAS Racing and BK Racing. In all, he has 53-career starts in the Cup Series with best finishes of 26th last year at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C., last year and Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway and Indianapolis Motor Speedway this year.

Earnhardt also has 66-career starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and 10 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with one Truck Series top-10 finish.
