Kyle Busch’s No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing team was the only Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series team docked practice time at Richmond (Va.) Raceway on Friday as teams prepared for Saturday night’s Toyota Owners 400.

The No. 18 team’s penalty of 15 minutes of practice time came as a result of twice failing pre-race inspection at Bristol (Ten.) Motor Speedway on April 15, prior to the Food City 500. Busch won the Bristol race that was delayed to Monday because of rain. It was his sixth-career Cup Series win at Bristol and his consecutive win of 2018.

Busch is a four-time winner at Richmond. He qualified 32nd Friday evening.
