Voting for the NMPA Sprint Most Popular Driver Award for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers opened Sunday and continues until 11:59 p.m. ET Nov. 20. All drivers who are collecting Sprint Cup Series championship points are eligible.

Votes may be cast at mostpopulardriver.com or on the NASCAR Mobile app. Fans may vote once daily per unique e-mail or Facebook login.

The winner of the award will be revealed during the Sprint Cup Series Awards banquet at Wynn Las Vegas on Dec. 2. A $10,000 donation will be made to the winning driver’s charity of choice.

Retired driver and NASCAR Hall of Famer Bill Elliott holds the record of most Most Popular Driver Award wins with 16, but 13-time reigning Most Popular Driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. holds the record for most consecutive wins at 13. Earnhardt is eligible for the 2016 award, even though he’s missed the last seven races and will miss the remaining 11 in 2016.
