NASCAR Cup: reviewing the bottom of the Chase for the Sprint Cup standings

Sunday’s Citizen Soldier 400 at Dover (Del.) International Speedway is the third race of the 2016 Chase for the Sprint Cup, making it an elimination race. As a result, the 16-driver Chase field will be whittled down to 12. Jamie McMurray, Austin Dillon, Tony Stewart and Chris Buescher are the four drivers at the bottom, in provisional elimination spots, heading into the Dover race. Meanwhile, Kyle Larson and Kurt Busch are the last two drivers in potential advancement positions, putting them most in danger of losing their spot(s) to one of the aforementioned drivers.
