NASCAR Hall of Fame inductions postponed

By AMANDA VINCENT

Winter weather in the Charlotte, N.C., area on Friday has postponed the NASCAR Hall of Fame inductions of Bruton Smith, Terry Labonte, Bobby Isaac, Jerry Cook and Curtis Turner, scheduled for Friday night. The weather also forced the cancellation for the NASCAR Hall of Fame Fan Appreciation Day, scheduled for Saturday.

While the Fan Appreciation Day was cancelled, the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was rescheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET Saturday. Despite the schedule change, the ceremony still will be carried live by NBC Sports Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

Also the operating scheduled for the NASCAR Hall of Fame was modified. The facility plans to close its doors at 2 p.m. Friday and reopen at noon Saturday. Admission on Saturday will be free of charge.
