On Friday, NASCAR announced the location for its season-end awards banquets for its three national series – Sprint Cup, Xfinity and Camping World Truck.

Las Vegas will play host to the Sprint Cup Series for Champion’s Week that will culminate in the Sprint Cup Series Awards banquet on Dec. 2 at The Wynn Las Vegas. The city affectionately referred to as “Sin City” has hosted Champion’s Week and The Wynn the Cup awards banquet since 2009.

“We are excited to welcome NASCAR and the thrill of Champion’s Week back to Las Vegas,” Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority President and CEO Rossi Ralenkotter said. “Las Vegas is one of the top tourist destinations in the world, and the NASCAR community can look forward to nothing short of unprecedented entertainment and unparalleled hospitality.”

Meanwhile, a joint banquet will be held for the Xfinity and Camping World Truck Series, as in recent years past. That banquet is scheduled for Nov. 21 at Loews Miami Beach Hotel in South Beach. The venue also hosted the awards banquet for the Xfinity and Truck series in 2015.

“Las Vegas and Miami are unrivaled when it comes to hosting premier events,” NASCAR Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Steve Phelps said. “Both cities were built upon big events and major celebrations, and we’re thrilled to once again honor our NASCAR national series champion along the Vegas strip and on South Beach.

NBC Sports Network will carry the Sprint Cup Series Awards live on Dec. 2, beginning at 9 p.m. ET. The network also will broadcast the Xfinity and Camping World Truck series banquet, but on a delayed basis, at 8 p.m. on Nov. 27.
