NASCAR Speedweeks at Daytona schedule

As in years past, the 2016 NASCAR season will kick off with Speedweeks at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. All three NASCAR national series — Sprint Cup, Xfinity and Camping World Truck — will be in action at Daytona, as will the ARCA Racing Series.

The first NASCAR-related on-track activity will be Feb. 12, with practice for the Sprint Unlimited exhibition race scheduled for 5 p.m. ET. The Sprint Unlimited is scheduled to take the green flag at 8:15 p.m. on Feb. 13.

All the NASCAR national series will officially begin their seasons during the Feb.19-21 weekend, with each series running its first points-paying race of the season. The Camping World Truck Series will run Friday night, with the Xfinity Series to run its first race Saturday, and the Sprint Cup Series to kick off its 2016 season with the running of the Daytona 500 on Sunday.
