Brad Keselowski Racing will field a third entry in the Lucas Oil 150 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Phoenix International Raceway on Friday, running the No. 2 Ford for Austin Cindric. Cindric will be a teammate to BKR’s full-time drivers Tyler Reddick and Daniel Hemric, drivers of the Nos. 19 and 29 BKR Fords.
“I’m really grateful to have the opportunity to run one more race with Brad Keselowski Racing this season” Cindric said. “Phoenix is the first time that I’ve returned to a track with the PIRTEK Ford F-150, and for me, that’s definitely important. Now, I know what to expect going into practice, what I need to work on, and how to improve. We were strong in the race last year, but things just didn’t work out for us. I’m excited to go back there and apply all the things I’ve been able to learn this season.”
Last year, Cindric finished 14th for BKR at PIR, a Truck Series career-best. That race was one of five-career starts for Cindric in the Camping World Truck Series, to this point. He has three starts in the series, so far, this year, all from behind the wheel of Brad Keselowski Racing’s No. 2 Ford, with a career-best 18th-place showing at Bristol (Ten.) Motor Speedway.
