Justin Marks has been added to the driver stable of the No. 54 DGR-Crosley NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team and will make his debut with the team Friday night at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, according to an announcement from the race team Tuesday morning.

The Truck Series has always been one of my favorite in all of racing in America,” Marks said. “The opportunity to drive for DGR-Crosley came pretty late but everything that David (Gilliland, DGR-Crosley President) and Bo (LeMasuts, Crosley Sports Group President) have done to build a competitive operation made it a very compelling situation to get back in a truck. All the pieces are there for us to have a great night and a great result for the Crosley Toyota.”

Marks has 37-career Camping World Truck Series starts, the most recent coming in 2016. He has four-career top-10 finishes in the series, with best finishes of eighth at Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2007 and Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway in 2008. He also has experience in NASCAR’s other two national series, Monster Energy NASCAR Cup and Xfinity. His 32-career starts in the Xfinity Series include a win at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington in 2016.

His only NASCAR national-level start in 2018, so far, was the Cup Series season-opening Daytona 500 on Feb. 18, his fourth-career start in that series. He finished 12th.

Marks is a full-time competitor in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

“Justin is a great talent and someone that has extensive racing experience across several different series,”DGR-Crosley President David Gilliland said. “We are happy to have him in our equipment and believe he gives us a great opportunity to leave Vegas with a solid finish.”
