Mike Hillman Jr. is the new crew chief on the No. 51 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota team in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, replacing Kevin “Bono” Manion, team owner Kyle Busch confirmed Friday, according to a Motorsport.com report.

Hillman’s departure from Brad Keselowski Racing was announced by that team the previous day.

Hillman was crew chief on BKR’s No. 29 team for Chase Briscoe. Briscoe made the 2017 Camping World Truck Series playoffs but was eliminated at the end of round one last weekend at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. Brad Keselowski Racing will shut down at the end of the season.

Hillman has 20-career wins, 98 top-fives and 140 top-10s in 250 Truck Series races.

KBM’s No. 51 team has multiple drivers. Busch, Harrison Burton, Todd Gilliland and Myatt Snider have shared driving duties of the No. 51 this year. The team has two wins, so far, in 2017, both with Busch behind the wheel.

Hillman’s debut with the team will come Oct. 28 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway, as the series has this weekend off.
