NASCAR Trucks: Cody McMahan plans Truck Series debut at Bristol

By AMANDA VINCENT
Cody McMahan plans to make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut Wednesday night in the UNOH 200 at Bristol (Ten.) Motor Speedway by climbing behind the wheel of the No. 10 entry of Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing.
“I am very excited about our Bristol debut with our new partner, the High Country Grizzlies (sponsor and team in the Arena Developmental League based in Boone, N.C.),” McMahan said. “Everyone has come together in a relatively short period of time, and I want to thank everyone for working so hard to get this done. Racing at Bristol is a dream of mine, and I’m very appreciative of all the hard work that’s gone into this effort.”
McMahan has competed in the Charger division of the ASA Late Model Series, driving for former NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Eric McClure. He took Rookie-of-the-Year honors on the strength of four wins.
The UNOH 200 is scheduled to get underway at approximately 8:30 p.m. ET Wednesday. The race may be seen live on FOX Sports 1, with pre-race coverage beginning at 8 p.m.
