NASCAR Xfinity: Jordan Anderson joins Obaika Racing for Mid-Ohio
By AMANDA VINCENT
Jordan Anderson plans to make his first NASCAR Xfinity Series start of 2016 and his second-career start in the series Saturday at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington. He’ll be behind the wheel of the No. 97 Chevrolet for Obaika Racing.
Anderson is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series regular, running 10 of the 12 races that series has held, so far, this year. In all, he has 29-career starts in the Truck Series. He lone previous Xfinity Series start came last year at Bristol (Ten.) Motor Speedway, driving a start-and-park entry owned by Mike Harmon.
Anderson’s only road-course race at a NASCAR national-level was last year’s Truck Series race a Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. He finished 16th.
