A new race team under a Braun Motorsports banner is at Bristol (Ten.) Motor Speedway for its NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut in Wednesday night’s UNOH 200 series race eat the track. J.J. Haley is also set for his Truck Series debut, driving the No. 32 truck for the team.
“I’m looking forward to seeing J.J. behind the wheel of a truck at Bristol later this month,” Braun Motorsports team owner Todd Braun said, “He has shown throughout his career, especially in 2015, that he has the speed it takes to compete at every level he has participated in. It’s also great to have Great Clips come on board to help us in our truck efforts this season. I’ve had a long relationship with the company throughout my career in racing, and I look forward to continued speed down the road.”
Braun was a longtime team owner in NASCAR’s Xfinity Series (formerly the Busch Series and Nationwide Series) before selling assets of his organization to Steve Turner and his now-defunct Turner Scott Motorsports. Great Clips was a sponsor of Braun’s Xfinity Series efforts.
