Qualifying, race format for Mud Summer Classic at Eldora Speedway

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will get dirty Wednesday night when it takes to the Tony Stewart-owned Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, for the third-annual 1-800-CAR-CASH Mud Summer Classic. It’s the only dirt race of the year for any of NASCAR’s three national series (Sprint Cup, Xfinity and Camping World Truck) and the first of only two Wednesday night races for the Truck Series, the other coming at Bristol (Ten.) Motor Speedway next month.

The racing surface Wednesday night at Eldora won’t be the only anomaly for the Truck Series. The event also has a very different format, compared to the other events on the Camping World Truck Series schedule.
