Richard Childress Racing adds drivers to Xfinity Series program

Richard Childress Racing recently announced the addition of four drivers to its NASCAR Xfinity Series roster, including Ben Kennedy, who will drive the team’s No. 2 Chevrolet in Sunday’s race at Iowa Speedway in Newton. A.J. Allmendinger and Michael McDowell also will each join the team for a single race. Sam Hornish Jr. will drive the car for two races. Each driver will drive the No. 2 and work with crew chief Danny Stockman.

“I’m looking forward to working with this talented group of drivers,” Stockman said. “It’s going to be great to work with Ben in his Xfinity Series debut and also with all the veteran drivers. They’ll bring a lot to the table for us. I’m confident we’ll have a shot to win with all of these guys.”
