By AMANDA VINCENT

The No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota team of reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Kyle Busch was the only team penalized with crew chief Adam Stevens and front tire carrier Josh Leslie suspended for one race and placed on probation through Dec. 31 and Stevens fined $20,000 for a loose lug nut at the end of the May 7 GoBowling.com 400 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., but a handful of other teams received written warnings for inspection issues.

The No. 43 Richard Petty Motorsports Ford team of Aric Almirola and the No. 78 Furniture Row Racing Toyota team of Martin Truex Jr. each received written warnings for twice failing laser inspection during the pre-qualifying inspection process at Kansas on May 6.

The No. 43 team received two written warnings following the Kansas Speedway race weekend. The team was one of the four teams receiving warnings for twice failing template inspection prior to qualifying. Other teams receiving a similar warning include the No. 7 Tommy Baldwin Racing Chevrolet team of Regan Smith, the No. 47 JTG-Daugherty Racing team of A.J.
