Hollywood stuntman and NASCAR Xfinity Series racing veteran Stanton Barrett plans to make his NASCAR Camping Series debut Saturday in the Fred’s 250 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. He’ll be behind the wheel of his own No. 91 Chevrolet with a paint scheme promoting his movie Navy SEALs vs. Zombies. The movie marks Barrett’s directorial debut. Saturday’s race at Talladega will be Barrett’s first at the Alabama superspeedway in any kind of racing vehicle in 10 years.
“It’s hard to believe the last time I raced at Talladega was in 2005,” Barrett said. “Restrictor plate racing is what it is; we all know that. It’s a chess match at 200 miles per hour. Great time to promote our fun action film that fits the Halloween holiday and looking to loyal NASCAR fans to support buying or renting it.”
