Where they stand: Sprint Cup Series standings after Martinsville

With his win Sunday in the STP 500 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway, Kyle Busch joined the fraternity of 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race winners, joining Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Denny Hamlin and two-time winner Jimmie Johnson and cementing one of 16 available Chase for the Sprint Cup championship post-season berths.

After race winners, below, is a look at the points standings for drivers currently in provisional Chase slots, six races into the 36-race season (26-race regular season):

Carl Edwards, 206 points
Joey Logano, 196 points
Austin Dillon, 176 points
Kurt Busch, 176 points
Dale Earnhardt Jr., 172 points
Martin Truex Jr., 150 points
A.J. Allmendinger, 147 points
Jamie McMurray, 143 points
Matt Kenseth, 140 points
Ryan Blaney, 132 points
Chase Elliott, 131 points
